Pregnancy follow-up in Tel Aviv
Preconception consultation, early pregnancy and follow-up throughout, with an obstetrician-gynecologist who has twenty years of obstetric practice behind him. Delivery takes place in the maternity unit you choose.

How the consultation works

The first consultation. Confirming the pregnancy, dating it, and locating it on ultrasound. It is also the visit where the follow-up plan is set.

The follow-up. Consultations spread across the pregnancy, reading the tests and adjusting the pace to the situation. Every result is explained, not just reported.

Referral for scans. Anomaly scans and fetal monitoring are performed at a specialist centre. The results are reviewed and discussed at the practice.

Preparing for the birth. Choosing the maternity unit, preparing the file and knowing what to expect.
What this follow-up covers
Follow-up at the practice covers the consultations, reading the tests, the explanation and the decisions across the pregnancy.
It does not cover obstetric ultrasound: anomaly scans and fetal monitoring are performed at a specialist centre. It also does not cover the birth itself, which takes place in the maternity unit you have chosen.
What it adds is a single doctor who knows the gynecological history, any past surgery, and what happened before the pregnancy. In most care pathways that information is lost from one provider to the next.
Frequently asked questions
Not necessarily. First-trimester bleeding is common and does not mean the pregnancy will be lost, but it does warrant assessment. Examination and ultrasound allow the pregnancy to be located, its progress assessed and an ectopic pregnancy ruled out.
As soon as a pregnancy test is positive, and ideally before: a preconception consultation allows vaccinations, medication and folic acid to be sorted out before the pregnancy begins.
A centre specialising in fetal ultrasound. The referral is given at the practice, and the results are reviewed and discussed at the next visit.
